BOOKING INFORMATION

Terms & Conditions

These terms are in place to support the safety, wellbeing and smooth care of all dogs staying with Tails & Trails. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking confirmation

All boarding bookings must be confirmed in advance and are only secured once full payment or an agreed deposit has been received in accordance with the payment terms below. Bookings are subject to availability and suitability assessment. Trial sessions may be required, particularly for new dogs.

2. Payments

Full payment is required in advance for boarding stays. For boarding stays booked more than six months in advance, we may accept a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than six months before the boarding start date. Failure to make payment by the requested date may result in the booking being released.

3. Cancellations, refunds and credits

If a boarding booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the scheduled start date, a credit for the full amount paid may be issued for future use. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable and no credit will be issued. Credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months unless otherwise agreed. No cash refunds will be provided.

4. Drop-off and collection

Times must be agreed in advance. Late collections may incur additional charges. Emergency contact details must remain up to date throughout the booking.

5. Vaccinations and health

All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea, tick and worming treatments. Owners must disclose illness, injury, behavioural concerns, allergies or medical conditions. Dogs showing signs of contagious illness may be refused entry.

6. Behaviour and socialisation

Dogs must be safe to handle and able to mix appropriately in a home environment. Any history of aggression, resource guarding, escape behaviour or excessive anxiety must be disclosed. Failure to disclose behavioural concerns may result in a booking being terminated without refund or credit.

7. Veterinary care

Veterinary treatment will be sought where necessary. Owners authorise Tails & Trails to seek veterinary advice or treatment if they cannot be contacted immediately. Veterinary costs remain the owner's responsibility.

8. GPS trackers and personal tracking devices

Only GPS tracking devices supplied and managed by Tails & Trails may be used during a dog's stay. Personal GPS collars, AirTags and similar devices will not be used while dogs are in our care and may be removed and safely stored.

9. Personal belongings

Beds, blankets and toys are welcome but are left at the owner's risk. Tails & Trails cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.

10. Photographs and updates

Photos and updates may be sent during your dog's stay where possible. Owners consent to photographs being used on social media or promotional material unless requested otherwise in writing.

11. Refusal of service

Tails & Trails may refuse or end a booking where a dog presents a safety risk, welfare concern, or where information supplied by the owner is inaccurate or incomplete.

12. Acceptance

By confirming a booking, the owner confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
